Trails Stewardship Day! June 2 in Taos + Red River
You are invited to join a day of trail stewardship in the Enchanted Circle! We are celebrating National Trails Day by coming together to make our trails safer, easier to access and more enjoyable. We enjoy our public lands – we can help maintain them.
Join us on June 2nd, at 9 am at one of three sites: (1) Red River Ski Area, (2) the Town of Taos Youth and Family Center, or (3) the Dead Cholla Trailhead at the southern end of BLM’s West Rim Trail.
The day includes:
- a training in trail maintenance,
- work on the trail projects,
- a drawing for prizes at each project site!
Trail stewardship is an important part of enjoying your public lands. It shows our federal agency and local government partners our commitment to trail stewardship. Invite your friends and family (kid friendly event!) and come join other trail users in the fun!
This event is co-hosted by the Enchanted Circle Trails Association, Carson National Forest, Bureau of Land Management, Town of Taos, Taos County, Mudd -n- Flood Mountain Shop, Taos Mountain Outfitters, Mountain Khakis, Taos Cyclery, Gearing Up Bicycles, and Del Norte Mountain Bike Alliance.
Bring lunch, water, gloves, sun protection, wear closed toe shoes. See you Saturday, June 2nd, 9 am.
